Do VM’s shutdown gracefully when host shuts down on VMware Server for Windows?

Answer:

You can enable this option through the VMware Server console.

Login to VMware Server and open VM->Settings menu, Options tab.

You should be able to make them shutdown on host shutdown there. Adjust delays by manually editing guest ".vmx" files.
