Answer: Virtual machines connected to one virtual network can also access other virtual networks. But this is only possible if the virtual network switch is connected to one or more physical Ethernet adapters also called uplink adapters. If there are no uplink adapters associated with the virtual switch, all traffic will be confined within the physical host.
