According to Dennis W Rose, the vice-president of Hong Kong-based Citrix Systems Pacific, in today’s world, the world of terrorist attacks, epidemic diseases and natural calamities IT companies are thinking about disaster planning along with performance and cost saving issues. Citrix developers together with the company partners and resellers in New Zealand are estimating benefits of centralized application virtualization. Big companies in New Zealand (e.g. ACC, LINZ, Fisher & Paykel, etc.) already rely on Citrix technology to perform remote access or update geographic data from remote locations.
