New release: Veeam Configurator for VI3

Date: July 10, 2007

Today our friends at Veeam Software released a new tool – Veeam Configurator – that helps ESX administrators to control and apply configuration settings for multiple ESX hosts simultaneously.

Quote:

“It handles multiple ESX Servers simultaneously, reporting on and configuring settings and subsystems otherwise accessible only through the command line, with custom scripts, or through manual editing of configuration files.”

Veeam Configurator deals with:

  • Time synchronization (NTP)
  • Patch level (reporting only in this version)
  • ESX diagnostics
  • Remote root access

It also allows you to run your home-grown script at all ESX hosts in a cluster and get the results in a consolidated view.
