Veeam Software Inc. (www.veeam.com), releases new version of its Configurator for Virtual Infrastructure 3. Veeam Configurator allows you to quickly and easily manage settings and subsystems of VMware ESX Servers' otherwise accessible only through the command line, scripts or manual editing of configuration files – all from a single Windows screen.
Veeam Configurator gives you GUI-based centralized control over ESX settings and subsystems not accessible from the VirtualCenter interface, freeing you from reliance on the service console. Veeam Configurator integrates with and extends the capabilities of VMware VirtualCenter. It offers administrators a convenient way to use VirtualCenter partitioning to, for example, simultaneously configure all ESX Servers in a cluster.
Veeam Configurator comes with a set of expert knowledge packs ("Experts") that eliminate the need to study the details of a specific ESX configuration parameter and offer a fully supported alternative to custom scripts.
Veeam Software is an international company with U.S. headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio and R&D headquarters in St. Petersburg, Russia. The company is best known for its FastSCP product, which has been embraced by pioneers in the virtualization community. Today the company focuses on managing VMware servers, but as market requirements grow, Veeam will support additional virtualization environments.
