More and more companies are starting their activity in the fast-growing virtualization market. Among the most prominent are SWSOFT, VIRTUAL IRON SOFTWARE, SURGIENT and TRIGENCE. The companies provide various virtualization management tools that allow the user to optimize software development.
Rosenblum’s View of Virtualization
Mendel Rosenblum, VMware operating system researcher and chief scientist, answers the questions about the impact virtualization can produce on the data center. According to Rosenblum, the use of hypervisors to take over the role of the operating system makes the latter better tuned and less complex.

Update of Cohesive FT virtual appliances
Cohesive FT announced the update of its two products for Parallels and Vmware: Drop Trade Consolidator (Alpha 2) and Execution Gateway Router (Alpha 1). Drop Trade Consolidator now includes a new GUI and can be customized to accept user defined FIX sessions. Execution Gateway Router also offers new features, e.g. users FIX routing capabilities.
